AAG Foundation

The American Advisors Group (AAG) Foundation upholds the mission to engage employees, invest in strategic organizations and inspire change in our global community – with the ultimate goals of helping those in need and encouraging our workforce to make a difference.

AAG Foundation activities closely align with our core values - Caring, Driven, and Ethical - that are inherent in our culture, help form our corporate identity, and unite us as a family with a shared cause.

These aren’t just words on paper; at AAG we live them every day. One way this is demonstrated is by the investment AAG leadership has made through the institution of a formal, paid volunteer time-off (VTO) program. Through this offering, AAG full-time employees are provided eight hours per year of paid service to foundation-approved activities. The AAG Foundation also hosts internal fundraising events in sponsorship of our partner organizations.

Helping American Seniors

The AAG Foundation takes an active role in the fight against senior hunger and isolation. Each week, AAG team members take a break from their work schedules to deliver food and provide safety checks on seniors through local chapters of Meals on Wheels Association of America. Additionally, AAG associates engage in various social events and support activities with local senior centers, such as the Emergency Assistance Food Program.

Assisting Victims of Human Trafficking

AAG is a major contributor to Willow International, a nonprofit organization that rescues and provides restorative aftercare to victims of human trafficking in Uganda. Human trafficking is an international issue that affects nearly 21 million victims worldwide. The goal of Willow International’s aftercare program is to empower victims to heal from trauma and graduate into a life of freedom and self-sufficiency. Willow International also partners with organizations to promote advocacy and prevention through education and community engagement. AAG also supports global efforts to end human trafficking and our Willow director served as a volunteer with the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force.

In 2011, AAG CEO Reza Jahangiri took the journey to Africa to meet the participants of Willow International and volunteer his time. Since this inspirational visit, Jahangiri and AAG employees have become tireless advocates, joining in fundraising events and support activities that champion the organization’s programs as well as interact with its participants. To date, Willow International has empowered over 215 human trafficking survivors to live full, healthy lives.
